On a different subject, don't wheels work better on C-141s?

141s don't give a ****....and don't need no wheels.

Wheels are for girls...and Navy pilots!

Air Force pilots are so smooth, they don't need no stink'n wheels!

And that change was made prior to this new contract (loa or something).

Vacation reduces your days off, in the same way as it did under the old contract as far as I know.
Here is Razorback One's December situation as an M88B in ATL with CQ and 1 week of vacation:
ALV: 74:00

New PWA:
His Pay: 78:35
His Days of Reserve: 11 (CVG, MSP, & NYC would have 10 day of reserve)
Full at: 51:06 of credit (ALV -22:54)
Max Short Calls: 4

Old PWA:
Pay: 77:11
Days of Reserve: 15
Full at: 72:00 (ALV -2:00)
Max Short Calls: 5

Overall New PWA improvement:
1:24 increase in pay
2:24 total increase as of Jan 1 (CQ pay goes up) (79:35 pay month)
4:09 total increase as of April 1 (VAC pay goes up) (81:20 pay month)

4 LESS days on call (5 less for CVG/MSP/NYC)
FULL and no longer assignable at 20:54 LESS credit than old PWA
1 LESS short call

11 days of reserve? Do you mean X-days? And why just 4 for Max short calls--does his month have 16-20 (or less) reserve days in the bid period out of the 31? Confused....

Went to look it up to show you why I'm confused with your numbers:
Dec is a 31 day bid period. So from the way I read the table under 12.N.7.a. there are 24 reserve days, and for 23-25 reserve days you get 10 X days. Or just go to the bid package and you see 11 X-days for the 24 days of reserve and the ALV of 74. That would mean 13 days on reserve, right? And from the table in 23.S.2.c. it looks like the max SCs are 5.

When MANAGEMENT decides to actually grow the airline then we will be hiring.....

(where's some quality gloopy descriptive words for the LCC's and middle east airlines that dump excess capacity and trash yields!)

I know you know this but.....PWA improvements can't force the company to grow or hire, it can only affect the pay and QOL of the pilots who are already hired.

Funny... we gave up more improvements (and even gave concessions) to let the company "make moves" in a hurry via this TA, but nothing has happened except another year (at least) of stagnation.

I'm yet to see what the rush was.
