Fair enough buzz. I don't know enough about purple but that post seemed a bit backwards to me.

Purples just here to cause problems and stir up ****. Just block him.

No...it's more of a federal mandate than a contractual thing. Hee hee, mandate.:p

Very useful, on occasion, in its context.

Nu

True. But an "ass" is useful in context. ;)

Maybe I missed the memo, but I've always been under the impression that if my company does well, I in turn do well and get to support my family. Why would I not try to do what's best for my company even if not "contractually obligated" to do so. Seems pretty simple to me.

Like someone else said, are you contractually obligated to put the gear down?

I see. So there has never been a DAL pilot that has ever expressed any such opinion, never disagreed with anything that is going on, never mentioned being disappointed, etc. etc., hence your statement that he is "obviously former NWA."

Got it. For you, all former NW equals disgruntled/rule breakers/etc.

Sit down for this: I actually wear my hat.

No clue who you are (doesn't matter really) but with a statement like that, there is no doubt you are Former NWA. Not trying to bring that whole debate up but it amazes me that some of us are so quick NOT do something that may be beneficial to our company as far as customer service goes. Lets cut our nose off to spite our face. Makes perfect sense to me:rolleyes:
I think I'm going to stop washing my uniform and stop wearing my tie because I don't recall that being in the CONTRACT:rolleyes:

Wow! Class act. I am sooo glad all of the South guys I've worked with are top-notch sticks and human beings or your brand of nonsense might color my opinion of RDs. Since they have been great guys I'm left with the impression you are a true outlier.

You are correct. There's some on both sides no doubt.
Sorry if I offended you, I didn't mean to.
My main issue is, if already at work, why not do what's best for our company? It is so very clear to me. I'll leave it at that. Don't want to stir the pot more than I already have.

I have broken the contract many times in going down and helping get strollers for mothers because that's the right thing to do, not because its in the contract.

Yes, I am an outlier. Because I want to do what benefits my company and in turn benefits me. Def, an outlier.
