Everyone saw the email that took someone half an hour to write about the several thousand dollar ALPA website upgrade right?
But yet, crickets when it comes to the PA policy. Guess we're making PAs. Get to it people. And the N vs. S thing I just witnessed is embarrassing. Post merger hires are clearly the superior group. |

There really needs to be a decision tree made on how best to handle the gate house PA.
Thoughts on how it should go? Yes. 1.) Do you know what is causing the delay? NO ===> Do not make a PA. 2.) Do you think you know what is causing the delay? YES ====> Yeah, right. Begin at START again. :D |

No clue who you are (doesn't matter really) but with a statement like that, there is no doubt you are Former NWA. Not trying to bring that whole debate up but it amazes me that some of us are so quick NOT do something that may be beneficial to our company as far as customer service goes. Lets cut our nose off to spite our face. Makes perfect sense to me:rolleyes:
I think I'm going to stop washing my uniform and stop wearing my tie because I don't recall that being in the CONTRACT:rolleyes:

This mentality that is very prevalent amongst 'some' of us that we are not going to do more (I don't necessarily expect it, but if it helps why not) than we are "contractually" obligated to do. I get that to an extent...but if it helps our company why not?
Maybe I missed the memo, but I've always been under the impression that if my company does well, I in turn do well and get to support my family. Why would I not try to do what's best for my company even if not "contractually obligated" to do so. Seems pretty simple to me. Like someone else said, are you contractually obligated to put the gear down? The merger was 4 years ago. North is no different than South. One big happy family, right? |
