the good thing about a forum is you take people more on what they say and less who they are or were, take each one a person at a time and call them out for being an ass if they are.

Well said. I probably shouldn't have generalized like I did. My apologies to those I may have offended.

This whole North vs South thing is pretty worthless. Now Red Book vs Green Book, there's a real issue worth bringing up again. :-D

And yes; there's a difference between the two. However they're addressed differently in terms of the grievance process.

Something doesn't make sense in what you are telling me. Or, more likely, I've been told something that is incorrect.

Well, ideally, what do you see as the connection between the PWA and the "operation". Or in other words, from the time you sign in, to the time you're done, absent a reroute and rest, what sections of the contract apply directly to operation of the aircraft?

Exactly. Either do it or don't. You are also required to stand in the door and say goodbye to the passengers. It seems that the compliance on that is far less than 50% right now. How many guys have been fired for not saying goodbye? Zero.

Chapter and verse on required to stand there, please.

(For the record, I do stand and say goodbye unless we're running late and have a plane change)
