Try Ellis Island Karaoke. Sknny Vinny does some mean Elvis. It's right next door to our layover hotel.

I flushed the Greek Isle brain cells long ago. Then we had really scary relationship with the smokey meth Sahara joint. Only saving grace in that crap hole was the awesome Thai place in the strip mall across the street. Still a 5 star LAS dining destination.

Addendum: if you want see a great concert at an awesome, try one at the upstairs pool at The Cosmopolitan. Snow Patrol and Ed Sheerhan were awesome; so were Foster the People. Complete city view at night, alcohol AND a pool full of chicks.
I like our current place and hope we don't leave unless its for the Wynn, Aria, or the Cosmo. :D:rolleyes:

Hey LAX guys, specifically of the 737 flying variety.

Just checked our CPO gouge from where to park at ONT. Looks to me like a change since my last time flying outta there and also heard it might be bad gouge. Can someone PM me the real deal. I've got such an early sign in, I'll need to do a hotel room as well. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Last time I did this ( which was a long while ago ) the Ayers manager offered me a good rate. Still a deal?

PM Sent. For anybody else who needs LAX parking information use the LAX Welcome aboard packet, same page on the DELTANET as CPO Parking information, but the information is correct.

The CPO Parking information is correct for LAX, but wrong for ONT and SNA. For whatever reasons the ONT and SNA parking options listed are just options that are available to the public - if you want employee parking it is in the LAX welcome aboard packet.

We were early adopters and have been through several generations of this technology ... I'm somewhat agnostic when it comes to brands, but I do like VIZIO because at least it is a US based Company if you need something.

VIZIO's current line up is not as strong as it has been in years past. So, if you need something now, the brands you mentioned wouldn't be "bad." (today there really isn't a bad, particularly at these price points)

Costco extends the one year manufacturer's warranty to two years. In our experience the power efficient LED TV's are much more sensitive to voltage spikes which can knock out their delicate electronics. We used Costco's warranty this year for an event which was no fault of the TV (lightning). In about three days a service team (two folks to get the TV off the wall) replaced the circuit boards and had it back up and running like new. Without Costco that service would have cost me $500 and we probably would have replaced the TV.

You'll end up using the "Smart TV" features more than you think. Considerations:

• Remote with an alphanumeric keypad
• Matte screen (to avoid reflection from your ceiling lights)
• Comfort of the 3D glasses (most people don't use the 3D because the glasses are uncomfortable)
• Wireless Networking (unless you have at least Cat 5e to the wall)

Update: Strange, but TV Specs are decreasing from even the 2011 models. Guess they are getting cheaper, but not necessarilly better. Edge Lit LED's are cheaper to make and look sexy (thin), but the full array, local area dimming, technology make for better picture quality and less energy use. This one has the features you seek:
