That has got to be the dumbest presentation for anyting I've ever seen ever.
Half a billion dollars just to consolidate two terminals where no one connects now anyway? Oh, and a slightly better rental car center.
And just where are they getting that much money to throw around? Oh yeah, that's right, raising fees sucking more money out of the local economy and magical free "federal grant" money! LOL!
Sounds like someone is trying to get their friends some sweet contract gigs. At least they're not throwing money they don't have to LCC's in a futile attempt to generate the nonexistant "Southwest effect" of an "LCC". Oh wait...
If that thing was written on April 1st I wouldn't have believed it because of how stupid it is. Something in all that mentioned 2027. That nonsense will be scrubbed long before then when they realize they have no way to pay for it.

I always thought Delta would close the CVG hub due to market forces or the NWA merger. But now I know they'll have to close it due to the stupid people in charge of the airport. Good grief.

You gotta network. I think last time they got 100,000 apps for 1000 positions, many hundreds of which were for language skills. Unilinguals will need to get their attention somehow, otherwise just sit back and hope your number gets called against the odds. Everyone knows someone who knows someone, etc.

Come on, if you live in the epicenter of NYC you've got to know someone. Or know someone who knows someone. Even if its not a DL FA, you've got to know some DL employee in the area that would give you an internal.

Still, I wish we spent our marketing dollars on less controversial projects. The "Southwest Airlines" Coral Reef exhibit in the Atlanta Aquarium was a very good spend for AirTran in the day ... After all, everyone can enjoy the fish regardless of color, sex, age, or orientation. It is imagined the signs will be there as long as the aquarium exists and is an excellent promotion.

I'm very surprised that there is a guy @ FedX that didn't resign his DAL Sen. There was a guy who was working for both carriers and got caught. A witch hunt followed and all dual Sen (FedX & DAL) guys were outed. The one guy got fired and the others got a one time pass. Good for him if he gets back to SEA. I have a handful of friends who are trying to get back in the next recall. Seems a little unfair all the Mil Leave are returning after finishing their 20, but the bypass guys/gals have to wait for an official class.
Fingers crossed for hiring sooner than later...maybe the F/A hiring is a hint.
