Merry Christmas brother.

Merry Christmas to you too Buzz!

Did you get Newk's Christmas card?

Anybody not get it? I got it somewhere here... let me post the picture... standby...

That's kind of sad.

Dear Someone Who Nonrevs A lot

One particular CRJ-200 shows 2 seats available while the airport standby list and 10 seats remaining on the airport standby list. Which is more likely to occur, only having 2 seats or having something close to the 10?

Hmmm. They sold us a TA on that as well

EB has said hiring unlikely in 2013. Returning Mil leaves are pushing that date back further. Several hundred returning furlough bypass will have head of the line in front of the 35% DCI class makeup. Do the CPZ flows count towards the 35%? If DAL were to eventually hire 500/yr (unlikely anytime in the next several years) that's still only ~170 slots to be divided among all the DCI carriers included under the 35%.

I wouldn't go counting those chickens just yet.

I with you guys the best, and am interested in hearing the details of this career progression deal.

Depends...if its the day off the flight, the airport standby list is usually pretty accurate. Prior to that the airport standby list is not worth much.

they block the back rows, they open those back up on boarding if no weight proplems, hence the 10 open seats in reality

Does anyone else see a problem that the PINNACLE MEC was able to negotiate a bridge program with Delta without input from DALPA? I have a problem that another pilot group's MEC binded our management to a contract.

I really hope all future Delta pilots are required to have a bachelor's degree. That would eliminate a huge chunk of the Pinnacle pilots right there. Specifically the Gulfstream crowd.
