Just wondering what other people do and how successful that is. I know DYOD but wanted other experiences.

Absolutely. Currently have $26K in the Optum and about $6K from a previous that I haven't yet rolled over. Have made about 9% per annum in the the past 5 years. Up to $6,250/year is pre-tax. It's simply another tax advantaged investment account. Any withdrawals before 65 have to be for medical purposes. After 65, any balance can be rolled to an IRA and used as you wish.

I know we talked about this but I forgot the answer.

My neighbor runs Alteon (Boeing) training center. I can say without a doubt that Delta has bought tons of sim time in ATL for the 717. So much so that when AirTran called needing some extra time later this year they had a hard time fitting them in. Since the first 717 rumor surfaced I made it my goal to get him drunk so I could pry information out of him. Unfortunately he just drinks all my beer and doesn't share. :):)

The Sniper XR targeting pod is being integrated on the B-1 fleet. The pod is mounted on an external hardpoint at the aircraft's chin near the forward bomb bay. Following accelerated testing, the Sniper pod was fielded in summer 2008.

From wikipedia so I don't have to kill you.:D

Flew with the Sniper pod a bunch...it's an awesome piece of hardware, even when you don't have three extra guys to run it.;)
