100% BUT........ How do we as a pilot group or as a union (Dalpa) control who the company hires????? This "vault" letter sidesteps that. So, Lee Moak and Wychor sidestepped DALPA in negotiating this whole deal (in doing so whistling right by our Section 1), and then Wychor went one step further and sidestepped Moak with this deal to get around DL hiring requirements. |
Quick question.
My flight pay for the January 15 pay period is identical to both of December flight pay amounts. Isn't the flight pay supposed to reflect the new January pay rates for the past two weeks? Or, is the new pay rate not reflected until the end of the month? Vpr |

With the exception of the occasional genius that drops out to go create a new multinational in their early twenties, where do you ever see a person in any position of any authority anywhere that doesn't have a college degree?
I can only think of a two explanations for a working airline pilot doesn't have this most basic of requirements: 1: Couldn't 2: Wouldn't I don't mean to be snobbish: I'm not talking about Ivy League stuff here. I'm talking about "I went there and now I can make complete sentences when dealing with a conflict, or a HVC, and I got a little logic, and statistics, so I have a grasp of risk analysis, a I got a little extra algebra, and geometry, and the physics that high school kids no longer get, so that I could later grasp basic concepts in aerodynamics, energy management, and so now I can manage not to single-handedly drill a perfectly good airplanes into the ground through the deliberate application ignorance" kinds of places. |

Nu Perhaps it's a good thing we'll be too terrified to be angry at these guys? I guess we'll learn to pee in a bottle, and save the FA's from the aggravation of setting up for potty breaks. More efficient that way, I guess. |
Why does Bar have to hoot and holler? Where the F are our reps? I know that you and ACL are not officially "in the club(I think March is when y'all get your mafia pinky rings:D)" but hope that y'all push for change vs getting pushed to look the other way. Good luck, we are counting on y'all. Might want to give my boy AA in SEA a call to start forming a more Pro-Delta Pilot coalition.

That's for retirees living more than 40 miles from a military base. They will have to switch to Tricare Standard and pay 25% of the costs out of pocket, plus $300 deductible per family. The military expects to save $55M annually. But yes, I agree, step 1.
