As far as I know, automatics were the only available transmissions in the supra TT's. N/A's had available manuals.

So...when are you going to bring it to Sebring and put it on the track?? :D http://www.sebringraceway.com/ev_svra.lasso

I'll buy the Torpedo's! http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/140/30420

**Disclaimer**

I should know more about PBS than I do. I'm junior, and as such, usually just accept the fact that I will have a crappy schedule and not get the days off that I want.

However, I don't understand the reasons many people junior to me get a line, and I'm on reserve again. I even have a coveted February vacation.
I called the PBS help line and it went straight to VM.

If anyone has any thoughts, I'd love to hear them.

Thanks :)

Jughead,

I'm far from a PBS expert, but there are a few ways you can hose yourself. Do you ever use ALL OR NOTHING, or CLEAR SKED AND RESTART? Do you enter any kind of conditions, such as check in/check out times? Really, if you don't tell PBS that it MUST meet all of your requests and there is enough time I'm fairly certain it should build you a line.

BTW, did any of the guys junior to you with lines have training credit, vacation credit, etc? Or where they built solid credit lines from just trips?

Thanks for the reply and you probably got it - for the first time, ever, I put in a qualifier of "prefer check-in after 9 AM". Maybe that is what hosed me.
I have no idea why that affects anything, but I'll pull that out for the next bid.

I think it depends on what you put after that. If that's all you put, and it could NOT honor it, then I think it's still supposed to build you a line with trips that check in before 0900. Unfortunately, my knowledge on this is not extensive. I'm lucky if I have enough seniority to hold off the days I don't want to be on reserve. :D

Hopefully someone who can actually help you will chime in soon. :o

Jughead,
I'm a PBS Jedi, man ;)
That wouldn't do it-- that is a deniable preference, and if PBS can't build a schedule with it in place, it will just deny it and re-run the completion attempt.

Like Johnso said, unless you put an un-deniable statement in there such as clear sched and start next (then didn't have a next group), OR all or nothing, then you could have a hundred "prefer this... avoid that..." and it will still build you a line. In the end it will just deny everything and end up with a final statement "Award Trips", and if there is any way to build a line it will.

Unless all the trips in your cat would not fit on your line with vacation you have, you should get a line. And as an M88 ATL guy there should be plenty of shorter trips that will fit around a vacation.

Copy your bid group and post if you want it looked at.

Thanks. It's a simple enough bid.

Sent you a PM

300 wheel should be a lot of fun in a 2700# car, mines a boat compared to that at 3600#! Now I see why the Advans worked for you :D
The Mark IV Supra most definitely came with with a manual transmission. Great cars but impossible to find one that hasn't been built or abused! If you're in the Tampa area you could always buy one off Hulk Hogan as he owns a few.

Jughead, the "award trips" on the bottom line should give you trips to complete a line. I was in charge of the PBS education program before it got implemented. From what you told me you should have gotten a line.
