I would say that the PBS guys are very helpful. Just do not wait until the last day to call them. I have also used the PBS inquiry form on deltanet. It seemed to be helpful in understanding why I did not get something. Plenty of tools available to help. Now, that double unstacking is something that I will never understand. |

Hey Seamonster, not arguing with you, but if you're hanging your hat on comparing the Jan 15th paychecks, you're not actually looking at the 2013 rate. You need to get to the February 15 paycheck to make your point.

Sorry. I was only trying to say compare pays tubs regarding the Social Security tax increase. All the other numbers come from the contract, compensation section.

Just a quick review of the PBS bidding system...
So people don't ask me, what is the best way to bid if you don't consider yourself senior? Do this: 1. Start Pairings 2. Whatever you want me to fly. 3. Start Reserve 4. Whenever you want me to work. 5. Submit Bid. Typical Barn grad... copying someone else's paper. |

WOW the AMR pilot merger MOU adds $522M additional compensation above their new contract over the next 6 years.
In a message detailing the MOU, the APA said it “gives APA $522 million to spend on contractual improvements, Cheers George FWIW, In Delta Dollars, 1%increase is roughly $20M/annually |

Just a heads up to all, I've barked up a number of trees this evening and have confirmed that there is a special deal for the Pinnacle Bridge program people that they will not have to have a degree like the rest of us had to.
Not only did they go around DALPA and negotiate directly with mainline mgmt, but now the ones that no airline wants will be given an expedited process for joining our ranks. I would highly suggest calling your reps as I have to try to run this up the flagpole. This is freaking ridiculous. I find it mildly amusing that the ex-RJ pilots spend so much time ranking on each other. Would you prefer that all these Pinnacle pilots get laid off? What kind of person would not grant a hand up to someone facing the poop sandwich that is coming down to that group? I do think that our profession needs is more pilots crapping on other pilots, that will be good for us. |
Can anyone recall the metric that drives up reserves required? IOW, doesn't the staffing formula prevent a skeleton airline? Was it if 60% if reserves exceed ALV then the reserves required increases?
alfa, do you recall? |
