I'm on reserve as well. I don't get a guaranteed trip credit, I get what we actually fly. If I was a line holder I'd be calling scheduling to get it fixed.

I plan on calling the APLA scheduling guys tomorrow, but it is bugging me right now. I was at 81 raw when I started the trip now at 80 raw back to bucket one first in line for a trip.

Reserve guys do not get the original rotation guarantee.

Yep. I did it a day at a time and it worked. Not quite sure why, but it went through. Thanks Johnso!

I've never tried a block of days, so I'm only familiar with how to do single days. Glad you got it to work. :)

Speaking of X days. I was awarded my anniversary off (and the days on either side just in case) during the PCS run. Now they show up as * days and all my X days are at the end of the month after the reserve days are done.

Big deal? Should I call and who do I call.

Or do I really care since every day there are 4 to 6 reserves required and 35ish available?

Isn't secondary vacation bidding closed? I was talking to my wife and because the kids are not in school I'm able to bid weird periods like in May. I decided to change to the next week and I went to see if it would take it and it did.

? Maybe it didn't take it, doesn't matter, I'll swap it later but oddly enough it took it.

And anyone else shocked about the Pats? I thought they were a done deal. I mean, Flacco?

Your wife called scheduling and said no matter what, you cannot take roll are anniversary days away . And so you now have golden days over your anniversary.

Since you're on the 330, enjoy your month off. Totally unlike the MD-88 and soon the 717, sitting reserve on those buckets...

so I did a images.google.com search on 80ktsclamp, it was very entertaining.

The 2nd picture to pop up under an 80ktsclamp search beyond model train track layouts...

I also see that Selma Hieck (spell?) pic that Newk loves so much. For some reason mine isn't coming up so cool.

Thanks, and a raise too vs the 68 hour trips I was getting....shoot, that will even pay for a few short call hotels:cool:

Now quit your jibber jabben and get back on that oar young man.....don't make me grab my whip:D

PS......I talked to a classmate on the whale a few months ago and he said reserve FO was hitting around 50% while their jets were in lay flat mod. I may be off for a while, I'm not sure my proficiency can take too much quality time off
