Relief from putting bodies in cockpits?

Standard text: To T and any other LCA out there who can chime...

Personally, I'm okay with DAL putting anything in their books they want and I will try to adapt to doing it the "right" way, but please, please tell me/us that the standard text initiative is an attemp to quit changing the books and the procedures to finally get it right.

Until the new lead line check guy arrives...

Really? What airplanes? And what's the definition of "near term"? And how do you figure they'll come over the course of a decade? When did DALPA say we would need 3000 pilots as a result of the contract?

The problem with the SD "we could begin the hiring process as early as the last quarter of this year" memo on June 8th, it came a bit too close to the vote to be anything but trying to up the ante to get this thing passed.

In the meantime we heard on here the 717 meant 500 pilots, 750 pilots, 800 pilots, 900, 1000, 1200, 1000, 1200, etc.

To be honest, I don't doubt that Flight Ops wanted to hire just to save face with the pilot group next time they make a promise in a memo. But that's the thing, get it writing or it doesn't mean anything.

I have a feeling as time passes we're going to see Pinnacle Pilots left holding the bag, just like anyone who was hoping the 717 meant hiring. And just maybe 2012-2013 will be the last time we accept things without having them in writing and not a vague promise in a memo, and in hard numbers, not in questionable ratios.

IMO if someone voted YES simply because SD hinted at hiring in the near future, they shouldn't be allowed to vote. To let that sway them is ridiculous.

I don't remember seeing anything in writing about what he stated, so maybe just text him back and tell him folks aren't buying it.

What do you mean it isn't in writing? The list of early retirements is available to you. The updated seniority lists are available to you.

Okay football fans, I'm whoring myself out.

I have the kiss of death as a football fan this year, the teams I cheered for lost, the teams I cheered against, won. My track record was near perfect ruined only by my good friends in South Carolina, later College Station and then those Panthers at home against the Falcons. :D

So, just let me know who you want me to cheer for and I will. Want the Falcons to lose? I'll cheer for the cheesy Matty Ice Falcons. 49ers out? I'll cheer for Tattoo Man.

Right now, I'm cheering for the FALCONS and the RAVENS. RISE UP!!!!!! But I can be persuaded.

General question.
Trying to retrieve old rotations (anything greater than about 3 months old) but ecrew keeps telling me "NO ROTATION DATA PRESENT". Is there an alternate way to go back and get last year's rotations on ecrew for tax purposes? Or a better way to get the RON locations after the fact? Never needed to itemize in CVG I flew so infrequently, but ATL's another story...
Thanks.

Alright, the more I watch the obnoxious dancing defense of the Falcons and a QB who was nicknamed "ice" before he had accomplished anything, the more I want to cheer aga... for them.

Thanks.

I was just able to use iCrew to access my schedule and rotations back to at least May of 2011, so it's possible to see rotations that old.

But I pay Flightdata $50 and get all my per diem info for my taxes from them. Google "flightline data expenses" and you'll find it. Saves a lot of work and they make a nice product.
