For one thing, if looks contribute to a person's professionalism, well, it's not unless you're a rancher or farmer. Second, it's difficult to distinguish between crewmembers and passengers at that point, which could be critical in an emergency.

At a minimum, this might suggest the deal is for 2013, not the airframes.

If I recall from the SLI discussions, we can order from Boeing and have deliveries after 18 months, I bet Airbus is similar. Now if we want to wait for Neos, that's a lot longer. (2015-2016 earliest in service).

You could bring half an old steering wheel with you and set it on the lunch table for that Boeing feel.
