If that herb stuff goes unobstructed, I think we should rehub out in DEN and start selling pizzas on all our flights. It will make the bag fees look like chump change.

Please enlighten us on how many DALPA big shots have gone over to management in let's say the last 20 years.

However, you'd be pretty hard pressed to find a MEM based pilot who had any problem with this particular individual serving his/our pilot group in either of the capacities in which he served.

Best CP I've ever had the pleasure to work for. He and WT were class acts.

He's probably the nicest and classiest guy at the airline.

People like HM and WT make me proud to work here.... Great employee group and some shining stars among them. BTW, HM nominated to Chairman's Club this year.... WT helping to run the shindig!

Just looked and HM was actually selected as a 2012 Chairman's Club Honoree. Congratulations.... Good things do happen to good people!

Just got a Council 66 e-mail announcing that pilots now have access to the Golden Touch Crew Runner. Not to be confused with the Q Runner. Well done C 66 reps!

A321 rumor

Training Department rumor: 3 CRJ50 to 1 A321 deal in 2013 with Airbus. They take 3 rj's and we buy 1 A321. Characterized as a "small" order. That's all. Throw no stones.

So 200 x 50-seat RJ's / 3 = 67, or maybe 70 x A321's? I hope they have more powerful engines then current models.

Not bad, plus no special training required since the type is common with the A320/319.

Maybe 172 seats? Plus 2 x jumpseats up front? Sounds good.

If it's the NEO, it would be 185 in 2-class seating with 33,000 lb-thrust engines.

I thought the 717 was the 50-seat replacement. Are these additive?
