Great for the company to get as much money as they can.

Aren't you making some assumptions?

In this case, he got out without a scratch but got very, very lucky, imo. The stock dropped like a rock right after the open. Had he waited an hour (or the stock opened down in the 13s where it was yesterday), he would be instantly down 3 grand or 70%. No stops would have saved him from an open in the 13s. The professional money usually wins.

Thanks.
Yes. Remember that over major holidays the Company does NOT have to honor the APD down to 25% though. PD's always have to be over 100% coverage.

I don't understand. How did DALPA budge on this issue IRT to the 717 seat lock?

You got it backwards. The seat lock is two years period. Every variation from that was negotiated, not the other way around. Ala no negotiation or a quid that is too high means DALPA does not negotiate it.

I met the Dog Whisperer myself this week on my commute. However, we did not have the physical connection that y'all had.

I've got no problem with a 2 year seat lock for an AE. I always assumed the 9 month lock was for a guy going from domestic to international on the same (basic) airplane because some guys cannot get their sleep right internationally and they are zombies within weeks. For those guys, I've never heard of the company actually holding them to the 9 month freeze if they just wanted to go back to domestic.

The 717 is going to be its own category despite just being a differences course for some people.
