Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
+777 !!!!!
The last thing we need is 12K Pilots all trying to fly 80+ hours each month.
It cracks me up seeing guys who are junior in category complaining that they don't like the current GS system and want 1.5X over 80 hours.
Be careful what you ask for - if you think stagnation is bad now lets incentivise maximum flying even more.
And just remember every time that an Inverse assignment goes out - the junior guy could have gotten a Greenslip.

It's almost sad that you keep beating the "Ed Said.." drum. PLEASE for the good of the group stop spewing Angry Pilots Association rhetoric (need I remind of the abortion scare or would you rather I pull the "fire alarm"? GMAFB) - it's nothing but divisive. Of course on 2nd thought that IS your primary goal here

Talk about word games. Pay RATES may have gone up, but far too many of us are seeing those RATE gains neutralized by displacements. Displacements allowable by contract changes that allow us to do more flying with less pilots. I know you know this, so I wonder who you are trying to fool with this line of "reason".

If the Negotiating Committee violated the policy manual then name the section they violated. Or are you just repeating another set of lies? The process was followed, the MEC voted, and you are just playing sour grapes because you lost.

Stagnation sucks! I'm looking forward to finally advancing as much as the next guy. I'm just saying that lashing out at the contract, ALPA or even management may be misplaced.
Nope, but not replacing the slots 1:1 sure is!
They stopped putting IFE in the 73Ns as well. Yet they continue to be utilized on the longer segments. There are other things at play, I suspect.
There are many different aspects to the stagnation, and C2012 is a contributing factor for at least another year.
Is the under-utilization of the 320's also a result of the contract? Or is it because they don't have IFE and network prefers the 73N for longer segments? Would these events still have occurred had we not voted in the contract?

Leine,
No offense but do you ever stop and pay attention to your environment, question what others say when it doesnt balance with what is observed or what has taken place in the past? The facts all point in one direction.
Lastly, I'd rather be pulling gear for Carl, trying to determine where I want that first upgrade and calculating how ill invest that profit sharing check instead of being one of the many FOs playing the continuius mind f--- game that involves 2 pages of MD preferneces, none of which which you'll hold past the following AE or the one after that. You need to hear this partner, but DALPA either got played or someone was handing someone a whole lot of something under the table; if I was DPA I'd spend some of that $100k sniffing with a world class PI.

I get that you're frustrated with stagnating. I'm one of the FO's that you're describing. I'm sure Carl would be great to fly with (as long as we don't get on this topic) and I want us all to have our careers start moving forward.
I'm simply stating that we have a contract that is (in my, and 63.99% of our fellow pilots, opinion) superior to our last one. Nothing more, nothing less. If you choose to believe that somehow we are worse off with C2012 that's fine. You are entitled to your opinion and we can disagree. Have a good night - I mean it.

Lack of IFE is just a sham bullzchit reason management gives to pilots when we ask, "why don't you fly the Airbuses more
"
With wi-fi on board and a tablet/smart phone equipped clientele, who needs a tiny, poor quality, lethargic IFE headrest anyway??!!

You've seen the AE!?! Tell us more about it!
I didn't know we had 73N's without IFE. Are you saying the 900's won't have it? Or we have some without now? I flew it for over a year, but didn't spend much time in the back - mercifully.
I agree there are many aspects and none can be fixed overnight. C2012 did not "make all my wildest dreams come true." All I'm continuing to say is:
1. I think we're better positioned for good things than we were prior to this contract
2. Things will get moving as the airplanes show up. It takes time to implement and we collectively have short attention spans and little patience.
and
3. We gave up some efficiencies in the work rules that the roadshows clearly laid out. We got better scope, work rules and extra $ in return. Overall I weighed it to be good enough to vote for and so I did. To each his own.
Good night all - my wife's giving me the "get off the internet" stinkeye
