So the other day someone mentioned Torpedo. Well, I found a Ranger in my fridge which quickly turned into two more Torpedo's. Who says this thread is a waste. Not me!!! Now I need to find that beer app as well. Ahhh 1am, how I love thee.

Btw, the new software on the maddogs actually helped us increase our block time. Agent was so gung ho we closed the door 10 prior. Ground crew shut all cargo doors 7 prior. We couldn't push till 5 prior but we were told to release brakes 7 prior to move a stuck chock. We were officially out at 7 prior. Of course our latency beacon didn't turn on till 1 prior when we were imminently pushing!! :). I may end up getting paid more with the new acars software.

Yes very similar...one presumably with a good conclusion (although there is water at the end of that runway) and one that was not.

Did y'all catch the story last week about the leasing company that sold 6 717 airframes to an undisclosed buyer for 17 million.... Was told that there was a possibility that we were going to get one or two 717s early and they were going to be used for training..... If'n we just bought 6 more that could be here ASAP, maybe training may be happening quicker than the Boys of Summer planned. Hhmmmmmm.....

Current DAL manning for summer of 2013 at an ALV of 84 would have us "overmanned" by 400 Pilots. ALV will not be that high.

Summer 2014 would have us undermanned by 300. Hiring is around the corner felllas, the only question is how long until we turn the corner?

That was put out by the Crew Resources Rep at the MSP base visit. Pretty good news overall - nothing really new to anyone who stays current on this thread - other than the above posted numbers.

I will post a sanitized version tomorrow - some stuff they asked us not to post on forums.

Jack, here's pic my buddy took across the bay in St Barts. Gives a better perspective on the downhill grade we would land our Caravans and Pilatus' on, after clearing that hill.

Hard to see in this pic (lower left corner), but one of the Caravans, turning final, right 28. Just as exciting as coming over the hill, since no go around is possible.

If I may refresh your recollection. That offer was made well over a week ago and you wanted to modify it to over 10 x the original amount along with some obscure metrosexual sounding rare Italian liquor that you happen to procure only on your Rome layovers.

Even though a week has passed, and by nature you'd have to sit on your hands and color for only two weeks now instead of three, I still say your self inflated ego ego will seek more validation and you won't be able to do it

So, my offer of $100 and a case of beer or $30 dollars in lieu of that if you want to put it towards your special cordial or aperitif or whatever it is that tickles you, great. ...

Just tell ACL if you except. My guess is, particularly now, your ego coupled with the superciliousness that oozes from you won't allow you to do it. You really hate it when folks question your preemninence and in your mind don't pay distinction to your rank(s).

Did the zoo or the boy scouts do that to you?:)
