Union presidents, politicians and diapers should be changed frequently, and for the same reasons.
As far as CEO compensation is concerned, it's somewhat of different context there and depends on what you consider the role of our union, or the government. I consider a business to be extremely profit motivated, whereas unions and governments the focus is more on the represented indivuals be it citizens, or union members.
I guess on some level our union is run like a business, and that is a fact that bothers me at times. I drifted from the original topic and took it out of context.
I do feel as though our union's president is grossly overpaid.

If the company is making record profits, I've got no problem with the CEO making record compensation. Same for the Union Pres. If his PILOTS were making Record high wages, I've got no problem with him also making record high wages.
BUT...SWAPA 737 Captains are making more than ALPA 747 Captains.
My "problem" is when the Pilots are still working for Bankruptcy Wages, and lost their pensions, but the Union President is making Record Wages, with a comfy retirement package. He's completely detached from what the rest of us are feeling, pain wise. I believe that is why the President's pay was an average of the three highest airline's pay in the first place, to keep him motivated to increase everyone's pay.
What's his motivation now? Has he got any skin in the game?
But, if he Don't rock the boat, politically, maybe he can get a job as the director of the FAA or NTSB? Or perhaps a job as Lobbiest on K Street?

I may been think incorrectly....pbs bidding question... If I click max credit...what am I asking for?

Go back to the line (or back to work in the real world, if you are a Senator) and work under the same rules you just voted in for everyone else.
Not tonight. Game on in 20 minutes.
Everyone should also read the newly released ALPA financial reports though.
There's some eye openers in there.
Our union officials really know how to wine and dine.
We left a nice even $1000 tip for the waitress at a place called Sardelli's.

Overheard at dinner that night: "What's a recession? Why do those peons keep griping about stagnation? Waiter! Another bottle of the 1961 Chateau Latour...for each of us!"
