I'm not looking to take anyone's job...I would have been happy flying my ATR around making money for Delta.....Just a little sensitive to those who want to try and take my spot on the "little airplanes"...ALPA should have worked this out years ago...Instead they igored it until it got to this point.

I don't know when you left, but management is much better, and schedules are too...

Hope things are well with you....

Again, Just a small point. ALPA does not control the seniority list at any airline. The function of a decision to merge a seniority list. Construct a master list, merge a airline ect.. are all 100 percent management functions. ALPA can within the constraints of the railway labor act attempt to negotiate those items with management. They can't however just make it happen because they wish it so. If tomorrow every single pilot and MEC member wanted the DCI carriers brought onto the DALPA list they have no mechanism to make it happen until the 2012 contract at which point we could attempt to negotiate that. The RLA might cause issues if the airlines were not truely merged above and beyond any issues the company might have in the process.

100% correct. Not a small point at all. That small point is so often overlooked by many who think that the Delta MEC should just go "poof" and force Delta to combine all of us into one big happy family. It should be pointed out as well, that there are triggers in the Delta PWA which "force" Delta's hand. Certain provisions require a seniority list merger if Delta buys certain airlines for instance.

Thought I'd add that.

Dude, one word: Iphone.

You can paper toss, bowl, ping pong, scorched earth your way across the Atlantic and then use skype on the other side, although I haven't tried the skype thing.

I hear Skype works great... MagicJack is the best though.. With a good internet connection, you can call anywhere in the states.. (not just computer to computer) for free.. I know.. Skype is only $.02/min.. It works good too though.. I'm just putting out another option

You are still short on facts. The facts, as presented to you in that post, are not really the facts. They are somebody's opinion. You can get all kinds of opinions on here.

I will agree with Bucking Bar, however, that it is time to move froward and put the effort back into more productive issues for the Delta pilots. Recapturing scope at every availability is but one of those issues, albeit a very important one.

Speaking of off topic. Another poll has the Gators as pre-season #1. :D

Texas #2.

Sorry Super. I know you like those UT cheerleaders. Maybe you should post some UF cheerleaders for comparison.

In an unrelated development, Manchester United is up 3-0 (pronounced NIL) on Wigan Athletic. Now back to our regularly scheduled program, "Hot girls of the NCAA".
