6 short call days is something we could have kept.

The extra short call day was a concession. Plain and simple.
No kidding. There is no way to justify giving up that 7th short call.

Also, via sailing's math, Carl's apparent pay increase from NW was 30,000 more than my gross pay last year. Yeah, that sounds likely.

On your 757's that are ETOPS and fly International with 3 man crews, what is your crew rest facilities like?

Thanks

Does this cause heart burn as well? I'd like to throw in a plug for Prilosec. You can be the Larry the Cable Guy of the interwebs and eat all the hot dogs you want.

In a debate, re-gifting is a non-starter for me.

(it is my understanding, your Lie Flat's are staggered vs. our's which are side by side)
Is there a curtain?

We are having an issue at UAL with our 75-2's. Contract states that the seat next to us (we are 4A>) 4B, is the last to be occupied. Well, they are putting upgrades and others in the seat when we have seats open in the back.
We don't have any curtain or other device to allow for privacy.. and it's a ***** (sometimes) to climb over the person in 4B.
Like they said, it's seat 1A - our 757s do not have lie-flat seats. The BusinessElite equipped 757s (ETOPS) are more spacious than most domestic BusinessClass, but don't recline as far as our 767 BusinessElite seats. We get a little foot rest and a partial curtain, but it is carefully engineered to not block out the light from the galley. ;-) The curtain goes from the wall behind us, behind the seat, and ends about as far forward as your ear on the right side. I am 6' 00, and it is not a comfortable rest seat for me. Because you are right up against a bulkhead, there isn't a lot of footroom to work with.

The seat besides can be occupied, it is supposed to be the last seat in BusinessElite that is occupied, so they can put upgrades in that seat. You have to climb over the person sitting next to you to get in and out, not easy but doable.

The range on the 757 is max at 8+30 or so, so the time in the seat is about 2.5 max. Those airplanes have IFE, so you can watch TV/movies if you want as well. The 757 rest seat is the least popular of the rest seats, that's for sure.

I don't have the number handy, but the seventh short call is only in months with a high guarantee, I think over 76. I'm sure someone will correct me. Anyway, it won't be available to them every month.

It's not my math. It's the contract, not hard to read.
