Orvil,

Good for you, once you go through the quote process PM with any questions or if you want me to look over the coverage for a second opinion. Not sure what state your home is in but be sure they do a home replacement cost estimator and see if the have at least 100% guaranteed replacement cost or at the very least expanded replacement cost (usually 25 or 50%) above the full replacement cost. Replacement costs from a fire usually exceed the original face value of the policy!

Good luck!

I've been sifting through the PWA this morning and can't seem to find what I'm looking for so I thought I ask the board. I have a week a vacation in June that is kind of screwing up the rest of my schedule. I'd like to either move the vacation up a few days or just get credit for the vacation and work a trip over that vacation.

Has the "vacation any" started yet? And if it has, is it too late to use it since June has been awarded? Is it too late to move the vacation too?

Vacation slide is available during the PBS bidding window. Look in the HELP menu of PBS. Also there is a PBS Notepad out there somewhere.

You are screwed. It's too late to 'fix it' now.

The time to 'fix' your vacation is during the PBS bidding, before the monthly awards. With PBS you can slide your vacation inside the month, but not to another month. There is a "Vacation Move Up" process for that, to change months, but it's another page inside iCrew you'll use to do that, but it's too late for June now.

And no, you cannot fly over your vacation days.

Is the "domestic only" sub-category for the ER being considered only applicable to ATL, or all bases?

How about this rumor. I've heard it from more than one place.

Delta is going to run a category within a category in the ATL 76. It seems that they are having trouble keeping everyone theater qualified. So, they are going to divide the category into international with theater qualifications and a second group, now wait.....domestic only.

How brilliant is that? I hear that DALPA is cool with the arrangement.

No idea how they will handle reserves.
I am not any kind of official word, but there has been nothing that I have heard along these lines....

Then again, I have been on vacation for the last 2 weeks.

Ya think?

Not a single one of our elected reps have complained about this. Not one. We've surrendered our authority to be the exclusive bargaining agent for Delta pilots, and our reps refuse to fight it.

Perhaps for the first time ever, the apathy of our elected reps exceeds that of the membership.

It's not being considered. It was a resolution passed at a LEC meeting. If the company wants a domestic only category they already have it and can simply cancel the category closure.
