Carl was playing off a 777 captain's confusion of it earlier in the week. You kept typing it as LGB or LGBP (can't remember which) for several days in a row. It was a pretty easy connection and pretty dang funny.

Not really. It's a serious issue, and if you choose to make light of it by connecting it to a gay lesbian community acronym, then you need to grow up a little. But then again, I apparently don't care about your situation.. right? Carl cares because he talks the talk.. (Got news for ya) Carl wants to make sure that he is always at the top of the heap... pay wise. (Bigger has to pay more because of all that responsibility crap) I am looking at a system that would put more money in YOUR pocket. But by all means, justify his little "joke", and keep on keepin on. I got mine.. dream and ***** about what could be yours.

We have not really had too much to work with lately. No aircraft announcements, no pilot hiring, mid-contract, ...... slim pickings all around.

But, just maybe we will have something to talk about when the 1500 hour FO rules kick in next month. I am curious to see how this will work out.

There is no requirement that everyone take this topic seriously 100% of the time. On here, there is almost no subject that isn't eventually made fun of. Gatehouse PA's, Sick leave, Commuting is a choice, accidental hand touching in the cockpit, the Maddog, the B747-400, & the list goes on.

Longevity based pay is just one of the many normal, every day things we discuss on here. It's not a religion, is it? :confused:
