That's not simply what you agreed to. Not a single person or entity thus far has advocated rushing to judgment. But I'm glad you agree with that. My disagreement with you is your full throated support of the ALPA press release that bitterly complained about rushing to release the raw data. That's our difference dude. You and ALPA are bitterly whining about something legally performed by the government agency mandated to do so. Not a single legislator, member of the executive branch, or bureaucrat has come out in defense of yours and ALPA's opinion. That's because you're wrong and that press release was an embarrassment to ALPA pilots. The much softer tone of today's ALPA press release tells me somebody told Moak to put a sock in it.

Can someone provide a simple idiots guide to where DPA stands?

I've heard that their cards already expired and any new drive/vote will require a new set of authorization cards. True?

How many pilots are onboard with DPA, they only need 50% + 1 to pass, correct?

DPA has just under 5,500 properly signed cards from Delta pilots. Of those 5,500 cards, just over 500 have expired because the NMB rules mandate that signed cards are only good for one year. I've had to renew mine three times so far.

You need 50% of the total pilot group to hold a new election for representation rights. To win that election, you must get 50%+1 of all the pilots who decide to vote.

Imho only, it kind of looks ripped off.

I hadn't really thought about it until PD said it but since the NTSB is not conducting a criminal investigation then is that why the facts can stream out? And imho it isn't accurate to say the pilots are being tried in the court of public opinion.

Now if the pilots intentionally crashed the airplane then it gets kicked over to the FBI and we hear nothing from that point forward. I mean if you look up the 9/11 crashes it basically says SEE FBI...

The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 are under the jurisdiction of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The Safety Board provided requested technical assistance to the FBI, and this material generated by the NTSB is under the control of the FBI. The Safety Board does not plan to issue a report or open a public docket.

That's him! I'd recognize him anywhere now. I was in the sports bar minding my own business drinking water when Timbo and his gang of 777 thugs walked in. They held me while Timbo poured beer down my throat. Something about now that I'm a Delta pilot, I better start acting like one!

I'm still recovering.

The right and wrong of forcing beer downs one throat is not as important as who picked up the tab.

Btw when a 777 and 747 pilot meet at say a Narita overnight, what kind of beer and food do they order? Is it like something better than Natty Light from the gas station?
