(1) If you knew taking this action would be viewed as inappropriate, why did you do it?
(2) Do you suggest we report violations we observe pilots making to that other enforcement agency, the FAA? Hey, first reporters often get immunity ... must be great to protect your career the DPA way.
(3) There is absolutely no evidence, or even credible suggestion, that anyone was working for the Delta Pilot Network or Pilot 2 Pilot (which as far as I know are the so called "Special Committee")

Well, it's always your choice to decide credibility. But this is very close to what I'm hearing. DPA was able to track it back to a time and place that implicated a very small number of people. The people involved in the hacking found out about how close DPA was getting in their investigation, and realized the FBI would be able to easily take it the rest of the way. The people involved in the hacking then called DPA to try and reach a deal not to take this investigation any further. So far, a public apology is something the people involved won't do.

Funny thing is TC had his but saved by the same organization he now vilifies. Can't wait to see how DPA handles a pilot who gets in trouble with management.
When the FBI tracks down who actually did this - probably a group of 14-year old boys at a slumber party - the "scourge" calling themselves DPA need to make a public apology to all Delta pilots & ALPA.
Why this organization, who makes unfounded accusations, has 5000 cards is beyond me?

What makes me mad is the idea of an Atlanta layover
... What the Hell?
We have a pilot base in Atlanta! Who's stealing our flyin' ? You Yankees need to stay where you belong.

I'm also not impressed that the DPA is pursuing a Delta pilot. Maybe professional standards is a committee that will cease to exist under DPA. Going after one of our own, regardless of the sin, is unacceptable. The ultimatum of going public or else is unnecessary theatrics. Won't surprise me at all if this "hacker" was hatched in the same part of Tampa that brought us the abortion letter.
GMAFB.
GMAFB.Only the most hard core ALPA sycophant would even try to spin this as a DPA crime. You guys keep forgetting that this will be won or lost by the currently undecided. My prediction is that the undecided are face palming right now at the embarrassing spin of trying to blame the victim. Keep it up boys. You're geniuses.

I'm sure it is the top priority of the FBI, they don't have anything else to do.
