That just made me LOL, is there a button for that?

I'm not saying this isn't an important issue, but man are we ever ignoring the far more serious problems.

First, we've outsourced OVER 50% of Delta branded flying. ALPA national refuses to even discuss that even though it's a huge threat to the majors and something not even wanted by the regional pilots.

Second, the RLA protects railroads from having their contracts gutted in a bankruptcy. Airline labor is excluded from THAT portion of the RLA, but included in all the rest. Like being stuck with the NMB before we can strike, etc. We have the worst of all worlds now by having the threat of bankruptcy taking 50% or more from us in one bite, but then have to fight getting that 50% back due to the NMB's interference. This is the biggest threat of all, and again, ALPA is completely silent on the issue. Not a single word. No attempt at all to either make airlines totally part of the RLA, or remove us from it completely.

IMO, our priorities are completely f'd up.

You see, it's the last part of your final sentence where you're losing me...

Again, quote where I have ever said that? If you don't know how to use the quote button, I'll help you.

Same with your new signature...where did I ever say that?

Almost every word in that sentence fragment was debate able.

But what other choice do we have? You want to close up shop to save a few bucks on dues money? That is a guaranteed loss.
Absolutely agree. We play their corrupt and repulsive, rigged game. We spend PAC $ and lobby until we are down and about to be knocked out.

Then, I think we need to do what we need to do.

Saving $ by changing horses takes away the ability to pull of an SOS. It isn't even a credible threat. Sometimes the threat, or bark rather, is better than the bite.

This is close enough for me to call what I saw "a duck".

Carl, what good did the strike do for the pilots of NWA in 1998? Was a better contract the result? No flame here, just curious.
