If memory serves correctly, dALPA leadership has been recalled.

DALPA has the stones. More importantly DALPA has the brains to do what gets the best results for the Delta pilots.

IMHO earlier would be a better result, although the headlines might not be as big.

Meanwhile, some might recall I reported on a $150 Billion dollar plus acquisition by our nations frenemies in the Middle East ... Here's the Boeing pitch to the them. Observe the route network.

Nice plane. I would prefer to fly it for Delta.

It's proposed to have an 11 foot diameter engine nacelle. Not sure what the current one is but that seems pretty large.

Why would Delta order any "super premium" widebodies when the business plan is clear: codeshare with foreign 777/A380 "partners," and feed them with 717's and 737's. This is the future. The 10 330's will be the last widebody order for a long time. We fly airplanes to the boneyard (not that there's anything necessarily wrong with that, since we're making money hand over fist,)

Of course, I've been told I'm a pessimist. I prefer a pessimistic optimist.

I couldn't get it to embed, but here is an optimistic commercial about a US carrier.
