You have 90 days to resolve the issue. Call DALPA and ask for premium pay.

If we're not going to squawk when they don't follow procedures, then who will?

It sounds to me as though the company is trying to prevent the trip from going back into the open time ladder, because they're concerned it won't be covered, considering the conflict between 117 and the PWA. In other words, they're trying to mitigate/hide the issues.

We're negotiating on this point right now. I'm not advocating anything out of the ordinary, only to enforce the contract. The company is violating the status-quo, in the two instances you describe, and this needs to be highlighted.

Is anyone having issues getting on Deltanet with Firefox? Every time I log on it goes to the logoff page. "Your session is finished." ***???? IE works fine and I've not changed any settings lately. Yes, I've cleared my cache and cookies.

I know my contract well and on numerous occassions, have had to point out the exact paragraphs to the "expert", before he would pursue a resolution on my behalf... YMMV.
As to item 3. I know exactly who u are talking about and have had the same experience with him. My impression is that he does not work on my behalf. Exclusively.

Bad news. And this does not only harm the reserve pilot who should be removed from the trip at the point of the domicile layover. It also harms the pilot who should have been awarded the remainder of the trip on his WS.

Be sure that your rotation shows you having been released from duty after you completed your screening. (24 Q. 11.) This may or may not make a difference in your rotation pay.

Why did you allow it to happen? Both you and your captain should have known that they had to release you. I never fly reserve but I do know the basics of the contract, and one of them is that there are NO domicile layovers on reserve. We all need to be intimately familiar with the basics of the scheduling section, especially when we were given a brand new scheduling reference handbook in December. Not aiming at you only Bobman.

And it will continue to happen regularly unless each and every one of us protests at the time it happens, very time it happens, taking it all the way up to the Chief Pilot, if necessary, and provides details of the occurrence to the Scheduling Committee regardless of how the protest turns out.

Otherwise, we harm not only ourselves but the pilot who would have otherwise been awarded the remainder of the trip on his WS.

As to "why did I allow it to happen", it was during that first week in January when 117 and all the chaos from the storms was occurring. I called scheduling to ask them about this but after holding for 30 minutes I hung up. I did call Alpa Scheduling and they said they would "write it up and send it to the company". They also said they didn't know if I'd get anything for it but agreed it was a contract violation.
