There must be something to this blarney day...nothing better than realizing an hour into your commuter flight that you got on the wrong one and are heading to the wrong base....

all kidding aside, on an ALPA meet and greet in the crew room a few years ago there was a guy saying just that. He walked up to the ALPA guy who said in so many words "so is there anything you want us to be looking at?" "Yeah, get rid of the Airbuses." The ALPA guy was like http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-conte...h-thinking.gif

And then later he told his friend that whole engine shutdown sequence at a volume, and this is why I even mention it, that was intended to be heard by everyone. His friend looked embarrassed.

Don't forget, it goes in to holding and you can't get it out as well.

Unlike the MD88's holding pattern exit via an accelerated stall.

A guy in my Navy squadron once flew commercial to Portland Oregon when he was supposed to go to Portland Maine for a TDY school. Or maybe it was the other way around - either way wrong Portland. Oops!

I think that one would be pretty tough to beat.

Scoop :)

I can't count on two hands how many times commuting home to Dulles that we had someone on board who thought they were going to Dallas. At least now they always say Washington Dulles.

I tend to agree, because we think in terms of cell movement. You have the big picture... you use your radar to see where the sucker actually is when you get there. But if you think in terms of cells developing, maybe you have two areas to choose from, but one's building up drastically, one not so much, the old picture might lead you towards the wrong choice. A 30-minute delay is a fairly long time.
