My post back then.

"""Well I tried to post the numbers but can't make it format. Essentially however we had 231 CA displacements since contract 2012 was signed. We have had 761 CA awards in that time frame for a net of 530 new awards. I don't know the exact retirement numbers however about 160 Working CA's went out on the ER program and I am guessing at about 100 additional retirements. That still leaves a gain of 270 Captains while overall block hours are almost flat. Pretty remarkable in light of the massive job loss from the contract."""

I have also stated that the Numbers I quoted were what has been added via the AE process. I assumed most pilots at Delta understand what the number represent . Perhaps some don't!

Crews coming out of the bunk, trying to use the biffy before going up front are going to cause a small riot! Total seating to be in the 430 range!

Forget non-reving in FC anymore...

Try coming out of the 330-200 after last break!

Nice document but no retirements off the 7ER, 777 or 744 in 2 years ?

I think your numbers reflect just awards/displacements without factoring retirements and therefore are not net Captains.

Edit: OK, just saw your explanation. Still net positive.

Didn't they just do a complete cabin modification last year or so?

Thats good news. We seem to move mostly backwards, so I am fine with sitting this out.
