I somewhat agree with you. We are different than SWA; however, we still have a domestic product. And although the domestic air travel has been reduced to "the bus" mentality, we can't forget that it is the domestic passenger that fills our airplanes and makes the international hub and spoke design profitable. We can't ignore that the SWAs and jetBlues have been eating away the low hanging fruit and slowly taking market share away from the legacies. Without our domestic passengers, our international system isn't viable.
Flew on a MEC Connect RJET a few weeks ago and man did the people complain. Also the jets are not full. Not even close. Passengers are getting picky. On a side note saw two DAL 757's land in MKE waiting to take off. Now that is progress! |

MEC= MEH (ACL typo)= Midex..... not our master executive council. |
I think I saw a NWA DC-10 in MKE once. So get the 753 and 763 in there. :)

A few years ago, NWA ran 753's into MKE frequently. It was part of the "kill midex" campaign back then- they expanded MKE in a similar manner to the current IND operation and ran lots of point to point operations. I think it was the 3rd or 4th attempt of the like. It didn't work.... so they bought them- and you get what you see today. |

And the plot thickens. Would there be enough MD-90s out in the system to replace the MD-88s?
