The trick is to do a few slides, then go back to the begining and use the search function to get to slide 60. Then you can exit it and get credit for completing it. ;) :D

Now Johnson,

You would tell me that AFTER if finished it. (And the last phase, too. Right?) :D

Sorry. I just figured it out on Phase 4 myself. Maybe it was just a lucky fluke. :p

See down here in the South all we do is self certify on DBMS, it is not linked to the training slides.

Think the next phase of orientation is 4 hours long.

Does that mean that we would have to take out all of the Auto Throttles?

Amen. I still see our stock doubling in the next 12-18 months.

ACL,

I'm quite a fan of yours and appreciate your insight into the various topics on this thread. Your "crystal ball" has been very accurate.

Two questions, though:

1.) What make you think our stock will double in 12-18 months?

2.) What's your take on SWA flying internationally and transoceanic as well?

Thanks in advance!

StreetInsider.com - Delta Air Lines (DAL) To Offer $500M In Senior Notes

In the spirit of posting DAL related news links.

Do you think this an attempt to pay down "bad debt" to loosen up more capital in case a bidding war starts up between us and AMR over the JAL deal?

I can't find the article now, but one that I read today said that Management intended to pay off NWA old debt with the proceeds.

I believe this is the article you might be referring too:

UPDATE 1-Delta to offer $500 million in senior notes | Markets | Markets News | Reuters

ATLANTA, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Delta Air Lines Inc (DAL.N) said on Wednesday that it planned a private offering of $500 million in notes and would use the proceeds to repay debt of its Northwest subsidiary.
In a statement, Delta said the senior notes due 2014 would be secured by its Pacific route authorities, slots and gate leaseholds. It also said those same assets would serve as collateral for its new senior secured credit facilities.
Delta became the world's largest airline when it bought Northwest Airlines last year.
Earlier this week, Delta boosted its operating margin forecast for the third quarter, citing an expected drop in fuel costs. It also said revenue per available seat mile, an important financial measure, would show a smaller decline in the third quarter than in the second quarter.
