If they have guys frozen in an overmanned category and they need them elsewhere...just a guess.

If you bid out, voluntarily, to a place where there are vacancies, vs. being displaced to a full category, it saves them training; i.e. the potential snowball getting bigger, rolling down the hill.

Be advised, nerd creep in progress.

I believe that was the first PG movie that Disney put out. Pretty dark and raw for them. 10 year old me dug x-wings and phasers like most, but got extra geeked-out and freaked-out by stuff like The Black Hole and Space:1999.
Loved that die cast Eagle Lander I had!

Somehow I thought Ultraman was super cool too, cant explain that one....

Mrs Boomer might put up a good fight, she's scrappy.

Space 1999 was pretty cool, and really expensive to make for the time.

There was one episode, however, "Dragon's Domain", that made this 7 year old **** his pants. It gave me nightmares for weeks, and probably put some people in therapy.

Looking at the clips now, the FX seems a little cheesy, BUT, it was a seriously messed up story, and pretty wild for broadcast TV. There was a little "viewer discretion advised" bumper before the ep, but what kid pays attention to that?

Almost 40 years later I still remember the shakes that episode gave me.

Anyone else have their mind warped by this show? Having cable in the early days is the reason for my demented mentality...

Quick questions for 2010 hires...

How long was the 2010 hiring window open and how many pilots were hired then.

Marty!!
