I am sure they're being hammered to clean and then move to the next jet. Something is wrong with the system because crowding passengers is the norm. Except somehow you fly to a small out station and the agents clean it and we still turn fast.
 ^^^^^^^^^^This!^^^^^^^^^^^ It's like a weird variation of Whack-A-Mole when they're trying to pop in the plane. But still a tad bit better than their hanging outside half blocking the door and thanking the passengers for flying with us. |

ATL7ERB, 73NB, and 717B have zero days next month where reserves available meet or exceed reserves required. Should be a fun month...probably a fun summer too.

This is the massive downside to increased reserve utilization and productivity. Ability to tweak sched drops to nil and QOL is taking a huge hit. Very difficult to swap or drop.
That said, I agree that the upshot for us is a hit on QOL. |

I asked for but didn't get a day off that I need next month. Now I have to try and get out of the trip. I need off on day two of a 4-day and all four days have inadequate reserve coverage. I won't be able to drop it but reserves available is greater than 25% of reserves required so I should be able to use my APD. My question is do I put in for an APD on day two only, get the entire trip dropped and can then try to GS or WS something on the other three days?
Apd one day only then u can pickup around It. U can never fly later on a day with apd listed so just apd the one day to drop the trip. |

Although I disagree with your position, I've got to applaud your unemotional response. Like FTB said, it's kinda fun to lose your cool. You've now robbed me of the chance to hurl another round of insults. My apologies to you. You sound like a nice guy and we just have a difference of opinion of what needs to be done. |
Reserve Rest Acknowledgement
Say you are on a single X day when scheduling calls to leave a message assigning rest starting at midnight after the X day till 6 am to get a 30 hour break.
If you wait till 2 am after the X day ends to acknowledge the rest, did you just break the rest period and negate the 30 consecutive hour break? Capt. Hook |

This has more to do with the fact that the new hires are clustered into a few cats than any productivity gains. |
