Ok stock market smart guys............
Due to incompetence and procrastination, I have all my Delta stock (even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then). My question is.....do we get the dividend? Is it paid in cash or new shares added to your 401K account? Or is ours "special". Ferd |
I'm only guessing but the stock (non DAL) I have in my brokerage link that pays dividends, always reinvests the dividends in more shares.
Only a guess, because we are restricted from purchasing DAL stock in our 401K, so it could go either way. Nice non-answer, huh? Erik |

Until then, it's a projected profit. Play with the house's money. Bank your winnings. |
Use the transaction history function on the Fidelity 401k website and see what you have been getting. My history shows that the dividend that was paid last September and November was reinvested into more DAL shares but the one paid out on 3/14 this year was paid as shares in the money market fund. Not sure why the difference as I have not elected anything regarding how dividends are handled.

Ferd, It depends on which award you are talking about. If you haven't received a dividend, you won't get this increased dividend. My guess is no. I think all of the stock awards are a "special" stock. But, email Kevin at DALPA. He will know.

I'll give them a call, and I've been thinking about selling for the reason you mentioned. But, I'll remind you about my procrastation and incompetence problem:o Ferd |

The MEC is doing a much better job with publishing info and keeping us up to date on social media these days, so all you APC'ers would be wise to like the MEC FB and twitter pages.. https://www.facebook.com/DeltaMECComm https://twitter.com/Delta_MEC_Comm The meeting updates, as they happen, are a nice addition. Btw, congrats to all the new captains, upgrades and no-longer-commuters!! |

It is time for our union to assert itself.
This 117 negotiation needs to result in some substantial gains for the Delta pilots. It needs to happen now. This month. If management refuses then Captain Donatelli needs to take some action. We deserve significant contract restoration and the corporation can afford to do it. There is no excuse. It is right and it is just. If Mr. Anderson will not acknowledge our enormous financial contributions and recognize our pivotal role in the rebirth of this airline since the dark days of bankruptcy then the days of DALPA being passive and "constructive" need to end. |
