Maybe DALPA didn't ask for it...
Maybe the survey said we didn't want it!

p.s. let's not forget Delta's $2.75 billion stock buyback/dividend program...

Thanks T and GJ for the BCN info.

Wilbur, if you could point me in the right direction I may have to "go for a walk" while the kids are taking a nap one day :D

Grab a table at a sidewalk café right on the beach front, right next to one of those shower poles, where the topless girls come to wash the sand off before they put their tops on.

You'll be sipping wine (or beer) at the best seats in the house! ;)

And you can always offer to help them wash the sand off...

"You missed a spot, here, I'll get it!" :D

Moral question: If you are in a hotel with very slow internet, and they left their router on it's default password, do you go in and re-set the password to enjoy unfettered access? ... .

Admin, admin? Really?

Another question since I am on the topic, what is the funniest network name you've seen blasted through the neighborhood? After we had a recurring problem I set mine to "Your dog poops in my yard" and set the power to the maximum supported ... three neighbors commented it was funnier than hell, one neighborr got mad, but at least they keep their dog in their own yard now.

The other day I saw a wireless network called "FBI Surveillance Van." It made me smile a little bit...good deterrent from people stealing some bandwidth.

Naaaasty.

Went to "breakfast" in Beijing with a fellow pilot near the City Wall. He said I'd love it as it was his favorite place to eat in the morning before pick up.

Went to a little sidewalk place with literally a closet behind it which had a large Home Depot sized plastic bucket with ground up "meat" in it.

Flies were constantly circling above it. They guy would scoop up some "meat," put it in a dumpling, steam it, and serve what was this guys perfect breakfast.

All the way back to Seattle I was fighting the urge to puke as it came wave after wave.

Never again. Who knows what was in those things.

Well, I can say I haven't seen this kind of movement since I saw a size 26 red dress walk up the jetway :D but I logged on to FB tonight to see my buddy from Auburn made 764/763/752/753 Captain in 9 years at UcAL.

Timbo,

I'm with you...had a 76-4 guy come over to the 33, I asked him why....are you more senior? No, you do know the pay is the same, yes...I don't get it...so why? He liked where the aircraft went! Wow..just wow.

Is there another reason to bid another aircraft? :D

I've got some buddy's from the UAL side that are none too happy with that. Apparently, the company had one last bid after the SLI was passed down with the old seniority numbers.

Over the years, there will be much fun to be had over there. I'm glad I'm over here. :D

Timbo you really don't want to fly the Bus. Not only is it a crappy plastic French airplane that calls you a retard, you'd quickly get tired of seeing all those topless babes in Barcelona.

I remember the Captain and the other FO in BCN at the beach sipping our beer, watching the scenery and remarking how sad it was that we were here and not in Jackson, MS or someplace like that. That's back when the ER went to those places.
