Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

I never looked at the numbers for years, I just knew which gate normally went to where.

But, I think the old NWA gates were E-4,5,6.

The tourist junk store was "South of 7" and then Contentinal has/had 7,8,9?

Your right, lots of room to expand in "E". Of course they will reopen the DFW base now that I've moved:rolleyes:

Yeah, I tought the NWA gates were on the other side of Continental as well.

It's just nice seeing more jets there than they have gates for in the morning when you leave.

we were, the NWA gates used to be on the other side of continental, (tucked in the corner) When i was at Continental Express I remember parking in between DAL and NWA. fwiw

It is awesome to see so much activity in DFW and hopefully there's more to come. Along the same lines, I've heard we'll be adding more flights out of STL as well since AA is shifting flying out of STL. We'll see

Just curious..When do schedules normally come out? Do we get an email notification or do we keep checking somewhere on Deltanet?

By 1700 on the 17th. Keep on checking. When they are final they will be in DBMS as well.

I think the name Delta Orient would be pretty cool branding idea. It'd say, hey, we're the experts in getting you to Asia. I mean it'd be cool to paint that on planes too but we move airplanes around so much you don't want Delta Orient landing in Shannon, but it would be a cool idea.

Kamsman, it used to be all the way until the 17th before you saw them but I've seen them come in way early now thanks to those computer/server upgrades. If you're a CA, its way early in the process.

But ACL, will the NFL's mess up the Nov bid award time table, at least the early publication of lines? Usually by now there is a link to November Bid Awards and usually its empty but right now there is nothing there.
