Of course the headline on DeltaNet said it was to allow for a smooth transition into the exchanges.
I'm telling you fellas, that is the elephant in the room for C15. We are gonna pay more for health insurance, one way or another, and it's gonna be a lot more.... I still believe it will be via imputed income... YMMV. It would be interesting to see how many older pilots get their insurance through their prior military service and aren't even in the Delta pools. I believe that whatever we get in 2015 will be what the union negotiates though. They don't have to agree to anything. |

You sure? I thought it looked like something out of the Mig family. I think we can shoot, I just hope the radar doesn't glom onto that big thing.:D
http://i520.photobucket.com/albums/w...20Mig/0034.jpg I sincerely apologize. That airplane that 777 was chasing totally looks like the two seat version of The Navy MIG-29. http://www.imfdb.org/images/thumb/8/...GGatling-3.jpg |

Extra credit homework for sailing: What is the pilot portion of CASM at Delta, what is it at WN? How many ASMs are produced per pilot block hour at Delta, how many at WN? http://cdn2.business2community.com/w...ng-600x431.jpg you know I didn't know this but average pilot wage/salary at SWA is $229K and at DAL it's $174k. But that's not all. Starting in 2005 the average pay per DAL pilot was 2005 $155K 2006 $127K 2007 $129K 2008 $125K 2009 $138K 2010 $143K 2011 $151K 2012 $158K 2013 $174K So what was the purchasing power in 2005 compared to 2013? Well, depends but somewhere between $186K using the historic standard of living value, $187K using economic status value and $200K if using the economic power value. So if you wanted 2013 to have the purchasing power of 2005, you needed 2013 to be around 7 to 15% higher than it was. So as you can clearly see, our problem in C2012 was we spent way too much of our own money buying the 717 for Delta. |

No it's not. Everybody knows the T-38 was the one that got replaced by the T-34. Stop confusing people. That IP is awfully short. How does he see over the panel? |
