Most of the Iranian and Iraqi civil controllers are retired us controllers or patco strike casualties. I've flown them back to the states from Dubai on several occasions. If one is on board, you get to cut that corner in Iraq, pay attention to the depressurization route tho...

Anyway, it will definitely add expense to the company.

The Iranians in the last few years seem to be 100 percent local. The expats seem to be long gone. Iraq has a lot of expats.

TLV was transferring from the 744 to the mighty 777 in October. Inquiring minds and all.

You are prolly right. I haven't flown mumbai in 3+ years so no doubt my info is dated. The Iraq expats have a sweet deal according to them...contract work for big dough with the first 95k tax exempt annually.

Looks like the EWR-AMS-BOM trip might be overblocking for a while.

id go its a good chance to get questions answered and eat and drink back some of our dues dollars. be warned that some of the alpos are useless there but if donaretti shows up its worth hearing his and giving your perspective to him. i hate political money but i started giving to the pac and also got a nagging contract question answered from one of them. they are gonna spend our dues and be the guys who try to bring us the next contract so make sure they know we mean business on this next round and 4611 aint cutting it

Did you mean 2015 for the second numbers?

Yeah, I just said two flights to keep it simple. I like the ESK system, but its a pretty big oversight that AF can add an "all cargo" 747 and that not count towards the cargo portion when cargo capabilities on a revenue passenger flight counts. Pretty big loophole, especially considering its completely one sided and likely always will be,

Jockey is using "4611" as an example of what Delta Mgmt. will offer for the next contractual pay increases.
