I just flew with a FA who was in the training department. He said that they had hired 1500 FA's last year. Of the 1500, 750 have already quit.

Make them get into the raft after they go through the overwing exit (if they can fit) with the FAA watching. Problem solved! Seeing how they are professionals with AFA demanded certificates they should see no problem with this demonstration of professional competence.

Don't know if that number is accurate, but the reality of the job is a far cry from what they're selling in ATL.

Sorry for the bad news.

Thanks guys!

Yes it shows the trip, but with 23K next to the days the trip operated.

The thing I'm thinking is, I have a trip on Thursday. If I under fly it enough they may put the trip back on (assuming it's still in open time). I'll report back on what happens. I'm hoping to slip into Lazy Ferd mode......my natural state

Or not enough pilots provide the necessary feedback.

Wow. They were able to obtain a lifetime supply of wine and Kit Kat bars in one year?

Pretty impressive.

The job wasn't what they expected. Many were sent to NYC. The cost of living was too much. Another reason given was they were flying a lot more hours than they had been told to expect.

I'm betting commuting problems. There was a wonderful woman working at a Mexican Food place we haunt a lot. She was hired, told to expect New York as a base and quit prior to training. I think she got on with USAir and is driving to work.

Didn't they hire nothing but speakers for the first several classes? Dream about going to Paris, then go to Jackson
