I'm absolutely a degenerate, and proud of it!

Be careful in the online world.
Who here is saying Delta sucks? Our management team is one of the best, but they need to hear what needs to a heard. There are better ways for Delta to handle IROPS. A crew tracker sending a dot matrix piece of paper to a crew scheduler when something needs to be covered is waaaaaay behind the power curve. You can't have crews sleeping in the airport because the 3rd party company you've outsourced to for crew's hotel accommodations is incapable of handling an IROP. The operation in ATL basically collapsed due to thunderstorms.

Ahh, the labeling of constructive criticism as something completely different. Fall in line sheeple--or else.

Is there a time requirement via the PWA (or any other formal agreement/rule) for having had a slip request submitted prior to a trip being awarded in order for you to have a legitimate claim at being skipped over and the trip being incorrectly awarded to another pilot? I had a GS request in for a specific rotation and it went to another pilot (his #2) 16 minutes after the time stamp for my slip request. Appears the scheduler ignored my slip request.

Kids. You know they are just venting. They believe that a $30 billion company should always have the best and latest in everything. Our technology should just magically appear every time there is a newfangled gadget or software that comes on the market because, well you know... it is simple to buy and apply. Software only becomes obsolete every 2 or 3 years (if it lasts that long) so it should be no problem to just go out and buy the newest.

Get off my lawn.

I had a yellow slip ignored a few months ago. I submitted the YS 3 hours prior to the noon PCS run and scheduling told me that they ran the slip requests at 9am that morning. I'm like, ahhh, ok. Thanks

Don't know if it's still the same way but prior to the first PCS run after you submit a slip, you were always last in line for the award. Commencing on the second PCS run after submission is when you get put in seniority order. That's why it's better to modify a request than delete it and start over. The same thing happens to a modification but at least the original is still in for consideration. Don't know if it's still this way.

I've already provided my input to my reps that we need the same protections against this and other types of monitoring that we have with the BOYD tablets.

It is not, my fellow flamingo. This was changed sometime before C2012, in the SOT LOA, I think.
