Can you elaborate on that Alan?
I was asking whether anyone has actually seen pilots being unstacked into multiple consecutive trips, and if so, what category? |

Recently RA said he would not buy a used WB. But he also said that the 74s were not going anywhere soon[/QUOTE] Ever to go to Mohave, CA? After seeing the thousands of old airliners there, you soon realize what "not going anywhere soon" really means. We just need to read into his words more. (good thing the FBI didn't pursue that "backpack" comment of his though). When I was in Mohave dropping off one of our birds, the airport manager giving us a tour asked my F/O if he knew what "mohave" means. Seeing all the "fleet" parked precisely in the same direction and spotting the windmills on the horizon he keenly guessed "WIND!" |

To all my fellow APCer's: I just put in my last bid as a DL pilot, Sept is my retirement date. Me and 6 other retiring 777 Captains are throwing a huge retirement party in ATL Oct 24th that could go down in history. Open bar, catered, live entertainment and transportation to from parking.
Timbo, Scambo and all ATL 777 pilots are already on the invite list. FTB, 80, Newk,Carl, Alpha, Sailing, Alan,Jughead,Bar,T,Jesse, et al. please consider yourselves invited. We are sending out a save the date around the 20th of Aug and then invites early Sept so people can bid around it. This will be RSVP due to the cost involved but we're planning on last minute arrivals. This party is with significant others and even RA is on the list so please don't be shy or worry that you won't know anyone. I have enjoyed all the conversations on the Latest and Greatest and figure this would be a great excuse to get together as many APCer's as possible. If you are interested please pm me your contact info and I will add you to my list. The retiree's involved are; Ron Norris, Paul Faulkner, Marc Lugash, Gene Robinson, Warren Zatazalo and myself Ross Campbell. There are 3 others that are considering joining as of this time but not yet committed. Is it in FTB's basement? |

So that is bogus of course! :D You may have been being sarcastic in your reply...I couldn't tell because of no smiley faces. Edit: Oops. Now I do see a smiley face, my bad. E |
Sad to hear about Robin Williams. RIP. :( :(

Anyone else hear there may be an announcement this Friday of a Hawaiian merger?

Looked in the PWA and didn't see an answer for this. If your training goes past the scheduled date do your "Shadow" days get pushed to the right or just evaporate? I'm guessing pushed to the right, but maybe someone can confirm. Thanks.
