But doesn't your point about them having already ordered the aircraft and those implications work against them with DL already operating aircraft that size in the form of the 717? They have already set a precedent for 100+ seat airframes being flown on the mainline certificate.
It definitely seems like an arrogant move. However, with the exception of DL, the other majors don't have or seem to be interested in ordering aircraft of that size. Im not really counting Airways' small E190 fleet.

We don't comment on positive things here. This forum is strictly for *****ing and moaning. It was well done and informative. It's hard to include foreign carriers because the tax and benefit structures in each country are very different.
