Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I want my old TX guy back (brother in law is a Southwest dude) who understood all this "stuff"
My current guy came highly recommended and I guess he is really good at corporate stuff. But when I had to explain what all the ProDiem stuff was I got a little nervous

I have a question. I swapped a trip earlier in the month that took me over the ALV. I didn't think you could swap/pick up over the ALV. Then I dropped a trip, and then tried to pick up a trip that is exactly the same length, to the minute, but it denied it saying that it would take me above the max pick up. Are you able to swap and take yourself above the max pickup?

Had a LCA tell me that the company isn't happy with the 717 numbers. He said they aren't getting the fuel numbers they were hoping for, and they expected it to go more junior. He said to expect an announcement this fall that they are going to stop taking delivery of the rest of the 717s.

Doubt it. Why would it not going junior cause them to not take more deliveries? Aren't all the captains on 12 year pay? So it should really make very little difference in the money they can make with that fleet based on it not going junior. The fuel numbers are a different story, but they couldn't have been so far off on the estimates that they now want to change their mind on them.
Maybe having a fleet of E-175's and E-190's makes them not as attractive as they were a year ago.
