Flight Dispatch Release Acknowledgement (FDRA) Process
The Flight Dispatch Release Acknowledgement (FDRA) process is being revised to allow crews to complete the FDRA hand-off much earlier in the departure process. This change will allow ACS personnel to focus more attention on passenger accommodations and the proper flight close-out process during a high workload time by eliminating the requirement to visit the flight deck to retrieve the FDRA. The Captain is jointly responsible with the gate agent to ensure the proper completion of the FDRA and the collection of all signatures is accomplished. The ACS agent will not close the main cabin door until receipt of the FDRA and the required verbal confirmation by the Captain is obtained. An All Pilot Bulletin defining specific procedures will be published and distributed prior to implementation. USair signs theirs via ACARS, and their technology makes ours look ultramodern. |

Actually, they applied to Delta, and got the apply at 9E email. Our EtD guys are extremely qualified military commanders with thousands of hours. The willingness to allow 9E to die on the vine because they won't compromise is interesting.
My military buddies that have applied have not received the apply at Endevor email. So I am not sure what keyed the guys you have talked with to get that email. One thought is they did not have current flight time. If they flew a desk the last few years that could be a reason, but in am not sure. If they are "extremely qualified" there is more to the story. |

Any place on DeltaNet and/or iCrew where I can find a list of the LCAs in my category...?
[EDIT: Or anywhere else, for that matter...?] If one is removed from a rotation for another pilot's OE (as I have been and which is what prompted the earlier question), I understand both from Crew Scheduling and from reading the PWA & the Scheduling Gouge that the rotation pay is guaranteed with no recovery obligation. Cool!! :D What if flying is added? Is the rotation guarantee reduced in any way if flying is added (via whatever mechanism) over the same days? Over part of the same days? Can't find that addressed in the PWA or Gouge.... |

I'm looking for a red dot scope for my Daniel Defense M4v7. any recs? thx CQ: Eotech. I just don't think you can beat the fov and speed. Flip down magnifier gives you a good all-round option but brings you past aimpoint price but still shy of ACOG. Con: some models including EXPS don't have a good flip up cover available. No brainer: aimpoint PRO. 3 yr battery life. Leave it on 24/7 so no fumbling for buttons, great adjustability, nice tight dot. Built-in dust caps. With the see-thru rear cap, even if you forget to flip up the front cover, with both eyes open your brain will superimpose the dot on the target (I recently did some CQ drills that way as a confidence demo). Con: small fov Money no object: ACOG with reflex sight on top. Will cost more than your rifle likely did. Minimalist: Aimpoint mini. Mepro maybe, but I have no experience with them. 2nd tier: Vortex or Strikefire. I've never tried the primary optics, but I hear they're ok also. |

No Pilots on board. Yep - No telling what happens when ACS gets into the "Eye of the Agent" zone. I pushed out of JFK a few years back with one too many passengers or one too few seats depending on your point of view. :D We had to pull into another gate and took about an hour delay. Scoop |

Related question, so following up to my own post:

You'll get the scheduled trip guarantee, stay home, and you will LIKE IT! |
