I think the real beef here is the original senior FO already is kind of senior. The ultra senior FO who is snatching the trip could make this same deal with the guy who is already senior so at least he'd get a good trip out of it, but instead is going to the JR. guy who was going to fly anyway. Now the original senior FO is still flying the original trip, the original junior FO is off on a more desirable trip, and the ultra senior sniper FO is chilling at home. I can see how the guy who thought he was getting the week off might be a little bugged by this situation. Around here we only can correctly identify those military airplanes that were in movies. Therefore here are the airplanes: F-14. Thank you Top Gun. http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/...febjsmwipu.jpg F-14 with Mig 29. Thank you Top Gun http://www.haiquanvietnamconghoa.com...op_645x436.jpg F-16 with Man Spread. Thank you Iron Eagle. http://www.allcinema.co.kr/technote/...db28198629.jpg The rest... we do the best we can. |

The common characteristics are small, loud and doesn't perform like a 757. The distinguishing characteristic is the cockpit noise level. Since the -900 is only louder, it known as the ER. http://oi57.tinypic.com/a47921.jpg Since Boeing was saved by Douglas, they have put their top Long Beach engineers to work the "Duude, this thing is loud ..." issue. So far they have discovered attending Manowar concerts prior to flight results in passive attenuation of noise through a process they call tinnitus. |

I must also correct you one more time, the F-5 in question is a MiG-28, not a MiG-29. |
Whatever you do, you are now allowed to confuse these:

The narrative in the Iron Eagle poster is hilarious. Somebody please edit for L&G and repost.

I know it is going to be a fun day when some new guy questions FTBs skills at military aircraft recognition. FTB, Timbo, 80kts and a few others are resident experts on the fine art of fighter jet recce here on APC. There's a tradition that goes back several years. Obviously we have some new guys that are not aware of their expertise. Maybe we can get FTB to post a primer on how to spot an F-15.. And BTW, it was not a MiG. It was clearly a C-130 painted to look like a MiG. |

If there is a loophole or way to abuse a system we have pilots who will exploit it. Witness the current mess with TOE trips as a example.
Disregard, figured it out. |

Yeah I went back and looked and he didn't get SLC 73N B he got SEA 73N B so even if he just got a seatlock, which he did, it wouldn't matter because it's a new category.
Well that explains it too! |
