Yeah, sorry. There are several different codes. Look at the bottom of the page. It gives a breakdown of the codes. DLJ=us. DLG=DGS. DLX=dispatcher. DLM=mechanic. DLO=OAL pilot. So it would appear that it should be a Delta pilot.

DLG is FAA also.

Jump seat question. I was trying to get home and noticed that somebody had reserved a "to work" JS before I could try listing mine. I thought it was odd that somebody would live in NYC and commute to ATL so I tried to look them up. When I did, I got an invalid employee number. I searched by name and he wasn't there either. Any ideas what's going on? Perhaps a space filler for the FAA or a company executive?

Use the company directory under Delta Net... might be a DGS guy.

You just never know. I live in NY and got based in ATL when I started in August. I did the commute you are talking about a few times. Plus, I do know we still have a few NYC/NJ guys commuting to ATL for a few more weeks waiting for a conversion.

As for the invalid ID? Who knows. BTW, in my experience out of NYC, 90% of the time the guy that booked the jumpseat no-showed.

Maybe an NYC based pilot on an out of base GS? Just a guess though.

Thanks for the information regarding bluetooth and the surface. I'm looking at the Bad Elf Pro+, which uses Glonass and GPS and has a 24 hour battery life, and up to 5 devices can be connected at the same time (sharing). I'll let you know how it works, IN MY CAR of course!

Thanks everybody. I will check out that last recommendation when I get home. Was just curious since his employee number was invalid when I looked him up. Not trying to make a scene or anything :).
