FTB, am I living your airline life in a parallel universe? First the spot on description of trying to say goodbye to passengers from the 127 Hours-like crevice of the 717 and now this post after I did the quickest post flight walk around last night here in Quebec. Keep representing! (Where's the emoji for "freezing my b@lls off"?)

Is there a way on icrew to see what flight an aircraft tail number went out on after your last flight on it? I left my sunglasses and was hoping I might contact the follow on FO in case he found them. It's a longshot, I know--a cleaner is wearing them on ramp 4.

I've outfitted about half the worldwide Delta ramp crowd. I called ops once and they gave it to me. I don't think you can track tails on iCrew, just flight numbers.

30TR means what? 330 Training?

Dear colleagues,

I hope you are doing well.

I am asking your attention for the following.

I am currently writing a thesis for an MSc in Air Transport Management at the City University in London.
Could you please help me by filling out a short survey and send the survey-link below to your (professional) pilot-colleagues?

The target group of this survey is: professional pilots.

This survey supports an MSc study into promotions of First Officers to Captains in the aviation industry. The study contains a research into alternative promotion methods for seniority (only) based promotion systems.

Filling in the survey will take only 5-10 minutes of your time.

I thank you in advance for your cooperation, your help is much appreciated.

With kind regards,

Olle van Zweden

So by filling this out we can help you help someone else abrogate the seniority system?

Um,

No.

I've been commuting out of uniform (mostly) for several years using TSA Pre Check and just comply with the liquid ban. It's not real difficult and I don't find it at all inconvenient. I have KCM at my home airport but for some reason it is much more painful to go through KCM than TSA Precheck. For some reason my home airport is an outlier when it comes to the norm of KCM and I can't stand commuting in uniform.

If you reread my exact quote from the memo it states just the opposite. I will not post the memo, if you have access to deltanet you can read it, however it does say if selected for additional screening you are afforded the liquids exemption out of uniform if you started in the KCM line.

Wow!! I finally got to backdoor my B!! As an ATL M88B, that never happens!!

Of course, what I found when I got to poking around in there was a bit disgusting..... back to back 4 days...

Will stick to the front door from now on. I can wait an extra day for that kind of disappointment.

I do this all the time when I find stuff on the plane. Call crew tracking, tell them you found glasses, ask where the plane went and who the next FO was.. They tell you. Or vice-versa in your case. I then look up FOs # in Icrew Personnel info, call them "I got ur glasses, and I'm in ur castle taking all z loot!"

PS-- Backdoor B is open.
