Just curious, what type of phone do you have, and what app did you use. For use in the car, of course!

Samsung Galaxy S 5. The app is called; "Bluetooth GPS Output Free".

It allows your phone's gps info to be shared via bluetooth to your Surface tablet.

Jump seat question. I was trying to get home and noticed that somebody had reserved a "to work" JS before I could try listing mine. I thought it was odd that somebody would live in NYC and commute to ATL so I tried to look them up. When I did, I got an invalid employee number. I searched by name and he wasn't there either. Any ideas what's going on? Perhaps a space filler for the FAA or a company executive?

They could have been visiting up there and headed to work also. The to-work doesn't have to be from where you live. Just like the from-work isn't limited to going to your home airport...

I have a Bad Elf Pro GPS and have trouble acquiring satellites while inside of a car. I would assume I would have equal results if I tried it in the cockpit. A friend of mine said he tried his in a cockpit and couldn't acquire any satellites.

Damn PCS. Got a trip that blocks in at 2338. Trip ends at 0008 thus making it uncommutable. I put avoid trips with later than 2130 check out. Feel like I was screwed by a loophole.

I keep reading so much about the KCM on here... now someone suggested a decision tree?? Is KCM really that difficult? Maybe my 15yrs of 121 flying has fogged my vision... are you guys new to 121 flying? I get it if you are, otherwise KCM is not complicated.

okay rant over.

If you reread my exact quote from the memo it states just the opposite. I will not post the memo, if you have access to deltanet you can read it, however it does say if selected for additional screening you are afforded the liquids exemption out of uniform if you started in the KCM line.

It states if you are screened at KCM you can keep the liquids. That's a quickie look at your bags. If selected for a full screen at the normal checkpoint no liquids.

Thanks everybody. I will check out that last recommendation when I get home. Was just curious since his employee number was invalid when I looked him up. Not trying to make a scene or anything :).

Mike, our you sure it did not say DLC Jumpseat. That would be a flight attendant. DLJ is the cockpit. Try and list!
Was it a mainline flight? Can't list for DCI.

KCM is extremely easy for us 717 drivers to understand. It doesn't exist.

Except in Newark.

Go to ICREW

Go to NRSA towards top right

Ship Tracking bottom of NRSA drop down menu

If you do not know the ship number look at a updated rotation
