Tyrrany is the natural order of society. Freedom through vigilance is the exception, and we've lost our vigilance long ago.

The closest we might come WRT revolutionary tech in this regard IMO is either abiotic oils or bio fuels. Real bio fuels though, like algae petrol, etc. Not the insane corn lobby nonsense that sucks up more petrol than it saves.

Where's the friggin' like button!

If he's really mad at them, he needs to overfly some of their routes and bleed them out. DL can easily afford it (1 or 2 routes wouldn't even move the profit needle) and they can't. I doubt they care who in the US is pounding their desk over anything.

Actually NYC is one area where it has been "tweaked." It takes a layover of 15 hours or more to go into Manhattan. Otherwise you will be at the airport hotel.

As always submit a hotel FCR and cc ALPA on it if your hotel stay is unacceptable. It really is the only way that change will happen.

I emailed the ALPA hotel committee guy from the website. He got back to me a few minutes ago and told me the Roosevelt will change a room in the XX8X series if we ask them to.

My education curve is climbing.

Anyone know?

Thx,

Are you talking about the page that shows your seniority by year until retirement?

That's the only one I know of and it's on the Dalpa website:

The "Skybox" in MEM was almost as entertaining as the Roosevelt.

We should never get those real small rooms to start with. After a red eye the last thing I wanna do is go back downstairs and wait for another room. I know NYC is a tough market but there's got to be something better.
